Greenpeace 1 - Air

Process and Rationale

We use fade in and blur as transitions to connect each scene for the pollution scene to natural scene by fading each element in sequence, sky, green filed, and a big tree. Air still carries the same realistic concept from the flower that uses realistic photography to present seriousness about air pollution problem. This goal yielded a simple interface using a computer and microphone.

Problem encountered!

At the beginning, we tried to play the background animation in a different speed which is based on the sound level to the microphone. The test output is not obvious due to the animation is only 3 seconds long. At the end, we decided to play the background animation in a constant speed no matter how hard the player blows to the microphone.
