Project Description

The goal is to build an interactive project that uses a physical sensor to control a servo motor in real time. We use a common PC microphone to control the movement of two sailboats in water. One exists in the physical world as a toy sailboat in a plastic container filled with water. The other exists in the virtual world as a animated sailboat on the computer screen. When a person blows into the microphone, they "fill the sails" of both boats with "wind" (their breath), pushing them through real and virtual water at the same time.
